Profile: dotRed, the brand with the little red dot, is launched in 2016 by Kazuhiro Goto, who has been deeply involved for over three decades in the design of synthesizers and pro audio gear, both as a main activity for one of Japan’s leading MI makers and as a hobby. Around him, a small, dedicated and enthusiast design team made up of seasoned engineers is collaborating closely on the concept and development of each dotRed product, bringing out their best to offer perfection.

We at dotRed focus on the design of MI and pro audio gear, aiming at providing pro users the superior quality they rightly expect when it comes to sonic tools. For us, such audio tools are an extension of the soul, as essential as inspiration. And we find their design highly inspiring.

Not surprisingly, dotRed is snugly located in Hamamatsu, the so-called “City of Music”, as it is often affectionately referred to here in Japan, right in the heart of the MI industry scene, and home to some of Japan’s most household names. Show less
